Fulfill the Mitzvah of Tzedakah guided by Jewish Values
Counseled by visionary Rabbis and charity experts, we help individuals, families, and communities engage in meaningful Tzedakah that aligns with Tikkun Olam, social justice, and the prioritization of the needy. Our services are free of charge.
Donating to charity is more than an act of generosity. It’s a Mitzvah.
The mitzvah of Tzedakah not only informs us that we have to give, it tells us how to give.
However, many of us lack the guidance we need to understand how we can best fulfill this obligation.
Ark Philanthropy was established to address this challenge. Working closely with rabbinic leadership, we help donors align their charitable giving with Jewish teachings and values. Then we work with charity experts to help donors identify exceptional grants to achieve meaningful, real-world impact.
Our team is here to support you on your Tzedakah journey, helping you discover joy and fulfillment as you foster Tikkun Olam.
Ark Philanthropy can support you by:
Helping you identify a worthy charitable cause
Consulting with our religious leadership to understand how core Jewish teachings should guide your Tzedakah
Creating tailored charity recommendations that align with Jewish teachings and the justice issues that matter most to you

“We are guided by the fundamental principle in Jewish law (halacha) called Pikuach Nefesh, which dictates that the preservation of human life overrides almost all other religious commandments. Pikuach Nefesh is a guiding light when fulfilling the Mitzvah of Tzedakah.”

Community Support
Tzedakah is more meaningful when it is a community project. When we come together, share ideas, and combine our resources, we can achieve far more than we ever imagined.
Ark Philanthropy partners with Jewish communities and congregations across the United States to foster dialogue and support the infrastructure to give — together.
Our services include:
Establishing and managing giving circles at congregations
Providing grantmaking research and strategy support
Providing individuals and families with consultations and tailored grant portfolios
Hosting Tzedakah events, including educational talks, giving games, and strategy sessions
