James Che was born and raised in Hong Kong and moved to the UK to earn a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London and a PhD in Haematology from the University of Cambridge. During his PhD, James founded Alma, a project that developed wearable biosensors for female health, securing seed funding to support its growth. He was accepted and attended the highly selective Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program in 2022 and then went on to work as a Research Analyst for Ambitious Impact (AIM) for two years. There, James brainstormed, researched, evaluated, and recommended charity intervention ideas that would provide the vision for high-impact non-profits across a wide range of cause areas.
